By adding the dimension of time, you can gain tremendous new
understanding of complex data. The Sentinel Temporal Analysis Module
provides the ability to see how networks and their constituent
entities and relationships evolve over time. With Sentinel Temporal Analysis, you can:
- See how relationships change a network's structure over time.
- Identify temporal patterns.
- See event precursors, and the effects of an action.
- Organize complex networks into time-based groups.
Network Changes Over Time
Use the timeline slider to move the current view through date
ranges. The slider is adjustable to control the start and end date of
the current view. See and understand the dynamic nature of entities
and their connections.
Timeline Viewing
The timeline allows you to select entities and relationships by a variety of criteria,
including types and date ranges. You can display results in a timeline view,
and sort or group by any criteria. Switch between day, week, month and
year views to understand patterns in data that are not readily apparent.
PER Modeling
Visualize an event as a set of predecessors, the event itself, and
the positive and negative repercussions of the event. Correlate
seemingly unrelated events into the overall event structure.
Event Structure Modeling
Automatically coalesce entities and relationships into events by
identifying "temporal cells." Use existing cell identification
analysis, and add start and end dates to the algorithm to organize data into events.
